We enjoyed our stay here, especially the children's playground, which kept the little ones entertained. The staff was accommodating, and we appreciated the option to bring our non-service dog without hassle.

In my wife’s opinion, the food quality needs drastic improvement.

I had a fantastic three-night stay with my colleagues. The staff were exceptionally friendly, especially Lewis at the bar, who kept the spirits high during a busy evening. The generous food portions were a delightful surprise, making our group meals memorable. Definitely worth returning for!

Spent 1 night here on a work trip and was glad I did! The room was clean and comfy. Loved the heavy curtains that kept the morning light out. The staff were super friendly. Breakfast was a highlight—great options, though the toaster took forever to warm up. A bit of a hassle, but overall a solid stay.

Decent stay with yummm food!

The food here was brilliant! Seriously, can't fault it. The staff could use more smiles though—one gal seemed totally out of it when I asked her a couple of questions. It was frustrating.

The Fernhurst serves as a great base for business trips, offering clean rooms with traditional layouts and comfortable ensuite bathrooms. The welcoming staff were particularly helpful, and having a bar with reasonably priced food and drinks on-site added convenience to my stay. The location is excellent, with amenities like Aldi just a 5-minute walk away, making it easy to grab necessities and enjoy a good atmosphere on match days.

The only downside was the busy road during match days.

I had such a cozy night in my double room! The bed felt like a cloud, and I really appreciated the clean towels and linens—such a nice touch. The attached pub offered fantastic food at great prices, adding to the welcoming vibe.

The staff at the hotel were warmly welcoming and they even let me check in earlier than usual, which was a life saver after a long trip. Loved that the pub attached offered good value food and drink – exactly what I needed after a match!

Convenient parking area at the hotel, perfect for travelers with vehicles. The pub on-site offers a lively atmosphere with a well-priced menu, making it easy to grab a bite or enjoy a drink without leaving the premises.

The overall state of the rooms left much to be desired—room 19 had falling tiles and a shower head not attached to its support. Cleanliness issues persisted with dirty fixtures and uncomfortable bedding. In room 27, I found the shower was non-functional, and the lighting in some rooms had faulty bulbs. guests dealt with noise disturbances from slamming doors and a lack of attention to maintenance in the bathrooms.
